Clara is expecting
Breeding & Litters
Clara has had a confirmed pregnancy so we are welcoming a few little Tamaskans. We do not yet know the number of puppies we are expecting, but applications are still open as we look to fill our waiting list. In an ideal world we would be expecting a litter of 6-10 little Tamaskans based of her lines, the breed, etc.
That said this pregnancy was accomplished using surgical AI which makes the number of pups more unpredictable. We are doing everything in our means to monitor her health and have the best outcome for these hopeful little ones (you can learn more about these procedures and monitoring in Raising Puppies and Protocols & Programs). We are more than happy with this choice, our medical team, the procedure, and her progress, but it is not uncommon or unexpected for artificial insemination to produce lower litter numbers. But all of this makes us even more excited to see what the future holds as we go forward now that we know Clara is expecting these little Tamaskan pups to be.
For more information on what we will be doing with this litter of little Tamaskans - regardless of its size, what programs we plan to use, and what testing and options we will offer for all of our future pups and their families you can check out our litters page and follow this specific litter on their page, Fall 2019.
*For both Dam and Sire's health testing and information you can view Clara's profile page, check out the Sire's feature, and direct any questions to us through email or one of our media accounts. This litter will be registered with the Tamaskan Dog Registy.
Since Clara is expecting and we are welcoming a few little tamaskans we want to know how many you think we will have. Let us know here or on facebook.
