There Isn't Just One Way To Raise a Litter.

We have a number of different programs and systems that we use in order to be as transparent and successful as possible when it comes to raising and placing our sundogs. Instead of utilizing a single program I use my knowledge as a trainer, handler, owner, and breeder to assess the ever developing and progressing research and programs available to us to raise our puppies as well as possible in an ever changing world that they can thrive and change with as they grow.

How I Set My Protocols

After years as a animal professional I have learned one thing that holds true no matter what - the one thing all animal professionals can agree on is that the other person is wrong. It is a funny joke with dog trainers especially, but it fits when it comes to raising puppies as well. Not everyone will think that what I do is necessary, some may disagree, but I shape my program around research, developing technology, and blending that with my years of experience and the support and education of my mentors in the exotic, dog, and horse world. Every litter will be raised slightly differently and we can even change things as we go when we receive new info or are faced with unforeseen challenges, but I will keep updating this page as we grow so that you can see what we do and why we do it.

I hope that this structured breeding & raising protocol will give you some insight into our program and how important we think the foundations of a puppy are to their over all health and well-being over the entirety of their life and the amazing adventures they will go on with you.

Incorporated Programs & Protocols

I personally feel we always have something to learn and that no one program can be completely unbiased and up to date long term. We grow by building upon the foundation we are given and looking at varied opinions and ways of reaching our goals. Because of this I remain current with a number of different systems that are available out there and that offer different benefits to my dogs, their families, and my program. It is a process to document the inclusion of such massive programs, but I am trying to collect video, photo and other documents for each program being used in my protocols as well.
